Our doors are perfect for cleanrooms, cGMP areas, and food production and are built to withstand moisture, harsh chemicals, and abuse in the toughest environments for many years.

The detail starts with the inside of each panel to provide unparalleled internal panel structure that gives strength and depth to the clean, finished look of every door system. All our doors are assembled and hardware installed before shipping, saving valuable time and resources and simplifying the installation. DOOR PANELS

FIBERGLASS DOOR PANELS

Fiberglass Skins: White Gel coated .090" smooth composite fiberglass laminated to 3MM ACM core.
Door edge protection: The perimeter of the panel is capped with 18 ga. stainless steel channels on all four sides. The edges of the fiberglass skins are milled with a CNC precision router for a flush clean finish between the door’s face and channels.
The door panel subframe is constructed from an aluminum or stainless 1.5” square tube, precisely cut and fully welded together. This provides maximum strength both horizontally and vertically to keep your door panels square and true, thus providing increased durability over competitors that use just a foam core.
Insulation: Polystyrene insulation.
Standard panel thickness 1 3/4"
Smooth view windows are an option for this panel and feature double 1/4 glazing that finishes flush with the face on both sides of the door panel.
Multiple window sizes and glazing material to meet your requirements.
Window frames are sloped, mitered, and welded from stainless steel.

STAINLESS STEEL DOOR PANELS

Available in 304 and 316 Stainless and carbon steel. 18ga., 16ga. and 14 ga.
Door edges fully welded, ground, and polished for aseptic applications
Door edges can also be lock seam construction along the edges and capped on the top and bottom, a budget-friendly for applications not requiring stringent cleanliness standards.
The internal panel structure is comprised of stainless steel ribs that are standard on all our panels and provide increased durability over competitors that use a foam or cardboard core with no real structure.
Standard panel thickness: 1 ¾”
Multiple window sizes and glazing material to meet your requirements.
Window frames are sloped, mitered, and welded from stainless steel.

FRAMES

QUICK INSET SERIES FRAME

The QUICK INSET FRAME is a unique split frame design that combines the door frame and jambs in one easy package. This design eliminates the need to install jamb casings, bucks, trim, and other costly construction framings required when installing standard doors and frames—saving you time and money. Our doors are ready to install, so nearly everything is done before we get to you, which means they are ideal for plant shutdowns.

Perfect for IMP walls and allows you to skip the costly capping of the IMP wall prior to installing the door frame.
Steelworks QI Split Frame saves time and money and adds coordination between other trades.
Constructed from 16 Ga. and 14 Ga. 304 or 316 stainless steel or carbon steel.
Fasteners inset inside the frame secure the facia side to the jamb side, and allow the door to be adjusted, leveled, and plumb before fastening the frame to the building wall.
Smooth stainless caps are placed over the fasteners for a clean, finished look.
The faces of the frame are fully welded, ground, and polished.
Passivation of all welds.
The top edges of the frame are sloped for easy cleaning and don’t allow a flat spot for foreign objects to gather.
Great for retrofits and provides a clean finished look without the need for drywall and paint repair.
Integrated controls such as badge readers, activation, and mag locks can be cut into the frame to meet your activation needs.
Hospital stops are available at any height from 1” to 12” tall.

SINGLE RABBET FRAME

The Single Rabbet Frame is the perfect fit for cGMP areas where you need to keep the door frame flush with the wall for a smooth, clean finish.

Constructed from 16 Ga. and 14 Ga. 304 or 316 stainless steel or carbon steel
Fully welded, ground, and polished Face.
Passivation of all welds.
Concealed fasteners for retrofit applications have smooth stainless caps over fasteners. Drywall/stud mounting clips and or Masonry T anchors for new construction installation.
Integrated controls such as badge readers, activation, and mag locks can be cut into the frame to meet your activation needs.
Hospital stops are available at any height from 1” to 12” tall.

HINGES & HARDWARE

Standard hinge: Full height mortise stainless steel continuous hinge provides the best long-term durable solution. Standard butt hinges, surface mount, and continuous aluminum hinges are also available.

We use Grade (1) heavy-duty hardware and can provide any type, configuration, or manufacturer to meet customer specifications.

The weather seal is adhered directly to the stop portion of the frame. This keeps it from being damaged as people and carts traverse through the opening and provides a consistently tight seal.
